We have two girls to look up in Saskatoon, so we’re off. This is the furthest north I will go. I started riding at 53.09° South, at Punta Arenas; here, I’m at 52.07° North.

We travel 380 miles along straight flat roads under a clear sky. With a tailwind, we cruise at around 60 mph. In Saskatoon, we go to a couple of dead parties, and then go to a pub, getting home at 2:00 or 3:00 a.m. The girls, Lex and Barb, are great and keep us on another day, looking after us very well. I give the bike a service and oil change, and note that the speedometer has stopped recording the miles. Bummer. I’ll just have to look at maps for mileage.
